Q: Does Hitmen Fields at Epperly Park provide a "Look Who's Coming" for their tournaments?

A: Yes. You can click on the tournament link and the "Look Who's Coming" will be posted in the tournament details under each tournament. We will update the "Look Who's Coming" weekly. 

 

Q: Will tournament T-shirts be sold at the tournament?

A: Tournament T-shirts will pre-order only. We may carry a very limited amount of T-shirts on hand, but to be safe please pre-order. All pre-order T-shirts can be picked up at check-in. 

 

Q: Some discounts are not applying when I do the online registration? 

A: Not all discounts are accounted for in the online registration. No worries, just complete a printable registration form and send that in with your check or email the tournament director to let him know if paying online. 

 

Q: Why are most Hitmen Fields at Epperly Park tournaments sanctioned by   USSSA?

A: We believe it to be important to have a national governing body to back our tournaments. USSSA has different divisions for all levels of play and we like to offer the same with our tournaments. Playing USSSA tournaments at the Hitmen Fields can also qualify you for State or National tournaments.

Q: Are metal cleats allowed at the 13u and 14u age levels? 

A: Yes, metal cleats are allowed.

 

Q: Are metal cleats allowed on the portable pitching mounds?

A: No, metal cleats are NOT allowed on any portable mounds. 

 

Q: Does Hitmen Fields at Epperly Park charge admission?

A: Yes, we charge admission to most all tournaments. These rates are posted in our rules document under Complex rules.

Q: Are coolers allowed in Hitmen Fields at Epperly Park?

A: Coolers are not allowed to be brought into the Complex. Managers may bring a stand up "Igloo" or "Gatorade" jug that must remain in the dugout at all times. Players may also bring in personal water jugs for use. The Hitmen Fields at Epperly Park rely heavily on our concession sales to help generate funds to put back in the park. Tournament officials will ask spectators who bring in coolers to return them to their vehicles outside of the facility. 

 

Q: When is the tournament schedule released?

A: No later than Tuesday evening the week of the tournament. 

 

Q: Do you feel your tournament rates are competitive?

A: Yes we do. As tournament rates have sky rocketed outside the Quad City area, our rates have only had a minimal increase over the last five years. We try to keep the cost affordable for all levels of teams to come play and we offer many discounts such as multiple tournament and organization discounts.
